Every time I go on Instagram, I see awesome glitter nail art designs all over my feed and it makes me want to try them all since I love sparkle and rhinestones, especially on manicures because I can have it for a while and not just a day like makeup or clothes. Since I practice nailart all the time, I don’t need step by step tutorials anymore but I gathered many for my beginners. If you’re skilled or expertised and know how to do glitter nail art just by looking at designs and pictures, I gathered a lot of new ideas and hacks you can use on your next DIY project.
Variety is important for nails since you can change it often and sometimes need them to work for Holidays coming up like Valentines Day, New years, or Halloween. I found some black, classy nails you could wear to a formal event or wedding with your amazing fashion and diamond bling. Of course, I found simple nail art like polka dots, french tips, and stripes that can look really cute if you use the right colour and glitter. I really like nail polish from China Glaze, Essie, and OPI for my ongles since they have a great heart when making their beauty products. Essie is great for pastel colors like Tiffany Blue and mint green, but OPI has a really cute rose gold while colors from grey to teal are amazing in China Glaze. Just look on their site for the colors they have! Don’t forget a base coat and to add cute rings!
1. New Years Nail Art
I love how complicated these nails look in the pictures, but can actually be really easy. You can do what they did with all the nail polish and use tape, or find classy nail decals or stick ons to avoid any headaches. Just make sure they have good sparkle.
2. Simple Purple Polish
Beginners tips: if you have the right shape on your acrylic nails, you can just go simple and use a glitter polish. China Glaze has really good colour polish on their website. If you want to save money, DIY acrylic or just keep your nails short and add the sparkle.
3. DIY Movie Date Night or GNO Manicures
We can pretend we’re going to the amazing and formal oscars, through our nailart. Here is a great step by step tutorial with pictures so you don’t have to decipher words. For a money saving nail hack, get a separate skinny brush so you can use the polish you already have.
4. Glitter Teal for Instagram Fashion Pictures
It’s not OPI polish, but my ongles would love the glitter colour. Imagine all the manicures you could do with that from the one they showed that just uses black and white to make a cute design to beautiful ombre stripes. This would be a diamond to add to your collection.
5. Bling Gemstone Design without Rhinestones
Born during the month of Valentines day but over that many hearts? Try out these purple nails inspired by your birthstone. The gem with rhinestone knockoffs has so much sparkle that it can only be translated with glitter on nails. It’s so simple that you can’t mess up because the outline isn’t even a perfect shape.
6. Rose Gold to Blue Ombre Beauty Ideas
I never thought of a nail hack that actually uses real sequins as rhinestones until seeing this picture on Instagram. It gives you a 60s disco feel that would be an awesome everyday look or even for News Years. Pick the colours to match your fashion but use ombre as a base coat.
7. Easy Awesome Stripes and Tape Trick
Cut tape to your desired shape so you don’t have to worry about getting the perfect lines and your nailart doesn’t look fake. Pink is beautiful colour to go with a silver glitter design. Make sure to get the cut the would look best with your designs. I think coffin can be a universal look for many styles.
8. Pretty Glitter Ongles – Pink and Mint Green
Glitter can be a great accent and hit of sparkle to a rather normal nail design. They use pastel colors for their base nail polish, but used a gold to make designs. Your glitter nail designs don’t have to be the star of the show on every single nail. There are many ideas for simple nailart.
9. Sparkle China Glaze Awesome French Tip : Metallic
Glitter polish and matte is an awesome contradiction that looks great on ongles. They had an almost matt brush in their nail art, but you can use it in any way. Maybe alternating stripes or even polka dots to be classy.
10. Stamping Nailart Hack – OPI Polish
This OPI grey a good agreement between glossy and matte. It’s good when you’re already gonna have enough nail bling. Add a grey glitter and black designs for an awesome DIY Instagram picture.
11. Glitter Trick for Nails
If you want subtle glitter, use a base coat and color and just use glitter polish as a top coat. When I was a beginner, my nail are was just a base colour and and a lot of glitter for my top coat because I had to hide my bad nail polish skills.
